Life takes twists and turns that we don’t see coming and we don’t want. In these times, we are tempted to go back to the “Land of our fathers,” or the flesh. As Ruth did, we must stay steadfastly minded in our trust of the Lord. We must choose to let the Lord establish, strengthen, and settle us (1 Peter 5:10). This four part series shows us how Ruth did not have to make her own way or work her own life out according to the world. She choose to stand still and submit herself to the work of the Spirit of God. With all she lived through and the losses she endured in her life, Ruth trusted the Lord, her life was restored, and she now knew how to have “Provision God’s Way.”
